ROOTED IN CHARACTER: a spanish home reimagined in pasadena
PASADENA, CA
The Kitchen: A BALANCE OF WARMTH & CHARACTER
The kitchen brings warmth and character together through natural wood cabinetry, softly veined stone surfaces and understated brass accents. A generous island anchors the space while classic architectural details, abundant natural light and carefully selected lighting create an inviting balance between traditional charm and contemporary living.
the art of entertaining : a bar & wine room
Designed for both entertaining and everyday enjoyment, the custom bar pairs deep charcoal cabinetry with beautifully veined stone and warm illuminated shelving. Just beyond, a glass-enclosed wine room with sleek black framing transforms a curated collection into an architectural statement. Together, these spaces bring sophistication, function, and a distinct sense of character to the Pasadena home.
Living Spaces: COMFORT WITH CHARACTER
The living space balances everyday comfort with thoughtful architectural details. A custom entertainment wall features illuminated wood shelving, integrated cabinetry and a sleek fireplace, creating a warm focal point. Soft neutral seating, natural wood flooring and expansive windows bring the room together, offering a welcoming setting for both relaxation and gathering.
the laundry room: beauty in everyday
Thoughtfully designed to make everyday routines feel effortless, the laundry room combines practical functionality with understated elegance. Clean lines, warm finishes, and carefully planned storage create an organized, inviting space where even the smallest details receive the same attention as the rest of the home.
the formal living & dining spaces : classic character, modern comfort
A thoughtful blend of classic architecture and contemporary comfort defines these gathering spaces. The formal living room pairs soft upholstery and natural wood accents with a sculptural stone coffee table, while the dining room makes a statement through textured wall finishes, traditional millwork, glass-front cabinetry, and an elegant brass-accented chandelier. Together, they celebrate the home’s character with a fresh, refined perspective.
The primary Bathroom: A study in quiet luxury
A refined retreat where natural materials and thoughtful details come together. Warm wood vanities, brushed brass fixtures, and softly veined stone create a sense of understated luxury. A freestanding soaking tub and spacious glass-enclosed shower, accented by textured tile and dramatic marble, complete a space designed for comfort, relaxation and everyday indulgence.
The SECONDARY BATHROOM: A BOLD EXPRESSION OF COLOR & TEXTURE
Rich emerald green tiles bring depth and character to this bathroom, complemented by warm brass fixtures and a dark wood double vanity. A marble countertop, classic mosaic flooring, and soft lighting balance the bold finishes, creating a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting.
The BATHROOM : SOFT BLUE & SUBTLE ELEGANCE
Soft blue vertical tiles bring texture and movement to the curved shower walls, complemented by warm brass fixtures and a natural wood vanity. Frameless glass and subtle architectural details create a fresh, inviting bathroom that balances contemporary design with understated elegance.
The ADU:A PRIVATE RETREAT BY THE POOL
A thoughtfully designed detached ADU extends the living experience into the backyard, combining natural wood cabinetry, warm neutral finishes, and a vaulted ceiling. With a comfortable lounge, compact kitchenette, and glass doors opening toward the pool, the space offers a seamless connection between indoor comfort and outdoor living.
