At ENE Builders, every project begins with a vision. For Chi Studio on Beverly Boulevard , the goal was to create a serene, functional space where clients could feel pampered and rejuvenated. With a focus on earthy tones, natural materials, and architectural elegance, we brought their dream to life through a thoughtful and collaborative design-build process.

Here’s how we approached the project, step by step, while integrating standout design features to achieve a truly remarkable transformation.

01 Understanding the Vision

The process began with a collaborative meeting between the clients, and our in-house design team. Together, we discussed their vision of creating a calming, spa-like atmosphere that would also support the daily operations of a busy nail salon. To bring this vision to life, our team developed a detailed layout and production plan, ensuring every square foot was optimized for functionality and flow.

After developing the initial layout, we presented it to the client for feedback and adjustments, ensuring it met both aesthetic and functional needs. Once approved, we submitted the plans to the city for approval, including compliance with Title 24 energy efficiency regulations and securing the necessary permits. After receiving approval, we finalized the architectural and structural plans, including detailed measurements and compliance with building codes. With all approvals in place, we created a production plan to efficiently execute the build, ensuring seamless traffic flow, a raised platform for pedicure stations, and strategic placement of key features like the stone sink. This process ensured the salon’s design was both practical and aligned with the serene, spa-like vision.

02 MATERIAL SELECTION & 3D RENDERING

Once the layout was finalized, we shifted focus to selecting the perfect materials and finishes to complement the serene atmosphere envisioned. Our design team curated a palette of earthy tones—warm beiges, soft greys, and muted greens—paired with natural materials like textured wood and stone. Soft rounded arches to add visual interest and a sense of timeless elegance. Limewash paint was chosen for the walls, adding a soft, matte texture that harmonized with the calming, spa-like ambiance.

To help visualize the design, we created a detailed 3D rendering that brought the concept to life. This rendering showcased key elements, such as the elevated manicure and pedicure platform, and the stone sink hand washing station By integrating the selected materials and paint choices into the rendering, we provided a realistic preview of the salon’s final look, ensuring every detail was aligned with our clients’ expectations before construction began.

03 Executing the Build

With the design finalized, we moved into the construction phase. Our skilled team managed every aspect of the project, from demolition to the final finishing touches. We ensured the layout was executed efficiently, paying careful attention to each detail—from the installation of the elevated mani/pedi stations to the incorporation of unique architectural features like arches. The space was transformed with quality materials, including elegant tile flooring, limewash-painted walls, and custom stone handwashing stations. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the client to ensure the vision came to life exactly as planned.

04 BRINGING THE VISION TO LIFE

The final result beautifully transformed the space into a tranquil, welcoming environment. The salon features designated zones for manicure and pedicure stations, a spacious reception area, and a back kitchen, all laid out for optimal traffic flow and accessibility. Earthy limewash tones, natural materials like wood and stone, and thoughtful architectural elements like arches create a harmonious, spa-like atmosphere.
