Psychedelic-pop illustrator Steven Harrington teamed up with Nike for a three-sneaker pack released on Earth Day, 2019. The Steven Harrington x Air Force 1 Low Flyleather QS 'Earth Day' builds off of the classic Air Force 1 silhouette, adding cartoonish illustrations and quirky details that switch tones from the left to the right shoe. The shoe's upper is made from Flyleather material, made from a blend of leather and leather-fiber material for a lighter feel.

A brief history of Flyleather and Nike's partnership with ELeather
Made in collaboration with the Berlin-based artist, the Ruohan Wang x Nike Air Max 90 Flyleather celebrates Earth Day with custom artwork on an upper crafted from at least 50% recycled leather fiber, gathered from scraps in the leather manufacturing process. Asymmetrical hand-drawn elements include woven tags atop the padded leather tongue. Discordant colors distinguish some of the sneaker’s signature elements, including the Swoosh, heel patch and midsole wedge.
